HEALTHY AGING

Disease is not your destiny

Aging and wellness can go hand-in-hand.

When I meet with a new patient, one of my first questions is always, “How do you feel?” Often, they respond by saying: “Okay, I guess. Normal—for my age.” I feel a sense of sadness when I hear this. This is because what my patients are telling me is that they expect to feel worse as they grow older. They expect to gradually fall apart.

I tell them that doesn’t have to happen.

Aging is a normal and natural part of life. Everyone grows older and everyone dies and that’s okay. But you don’t have to be sick along the way.

Empowering Yourself Against Aging

Most of us are taught that these symptoms are inevitable—that there’s nothing we can do. Some of us turn to pills or surgeries in an attempt to turn back the clock, only to be almost inevitably disappointed with the results. It can leave us feeling helpless.

I want you to know that you don’t have to feel helpless. In fact, the vast majority of the diseases of aging are the result of lifestyle factors, and the way those factors impact your body. If you change the way you live, you can change the way you feel.

Reduce. Rejuvenate. Reverse.

Thank you for all you have done to get me back on track toward health and the amazing way you helped with my serious bone loss issues. I am so grateful I found you!

Unveiling the Link Between Lifestyle and Aging

That lifestyle plays a role in aging isn’t a new idea. Indeed, the 12th century physician Maimonides wrote that: “among a thousand people, only one dies a natural death; the rest succumb to irrational modes of living.” But in the last few decades, scientists have gained a deeper understanding of exactly what can cause the diseases of aging, and what to do about it. The evidence is clear that what we put into our bodies matters a great deal, as does how we choose to live our lives.

Providing an Anti-Aging Treatment

Specific key factors that influence how we age include nutrition, stress, toxins and relationships. If you eat what’s called the standard American diet, you will likely experience premature aging and chronic disease, because processed foods, and sugar put a great deal of stress on your body. Likewise if you’re suffering from chronic stress, exposure to mold, biotoxins or hazardous chemicals, or a lack of supportive relationships. But—change these areas for the better, and reap the rewards.

I can’t make you 25 again. But I can help you to feel great, at whatever age you are right now.

Here’s my process. We’ll start with a thorough assessment of your health history—where you’ve been, where you are now and where you want to go. We’ll order testing to give us deeper insight into exactly what’s going on. We’ll come up with a custom treatment plan that will address all the factors affecting your well-being, including nutrition, exposure to toxins, stress, lack of sleep, gut problems, hormonal imbalances, and anything else that comes up. Then we’ll work through them, together. By rebuilding the basic foundations of your health, we’ll help you to experience wellness on a deep level. We can reduce your symptoms, rejuvenate your energy levels, and even reverse many aspects of the aging process. Very little is set in stone.

I’m amazed by the transformations I’ve seen.
